French bread pizza is cheap, easy, and tasty. You owe it to yourself to pack a loaf of day old bread with some deliciousness and pop it in the oven. I got this recipe from Farm Bell Recipes, but the possibilities of meats, veggies, and cheeses are limitless.
Chicken, Bacon, & Ranch French Bread Pizza
1 loaf French bread, sliced open lengthwise
1 cup ranch dressing
14oz can petite diced tomatoes, drained
2 cups of mozzarella, shredded
1 cup chicken, cooked and shredded
7 slices bacon, fried and crumbled
handful of parsley, chopped
Place sliced French bread (lengthwise, in two pieces) on a baking sheet. Drizzle with olive oil and sprinkle with garlic powder. Spread ranch dressing over loaves then top with tomatoes. Lay on the mozzarella then the shredded chicken and the crumbled bacon. Scatter the top with a bit of parsley to make it pretty.
Bake at 400-degrees for about 15 minutes, until the cheese is melted. Cut into slices.
