The Reynolds Wrap Ladies

You know them from their TV. commercials and for years you've depended on their research over which freezer bag would keep your pasta sauce the longest, but did you know they had a cookbook? Our first X-mas/Hannukah together I set out to deck out Mike's kitchen with tools and recipes. I wanted to find him easy recipes that we would eat and he could make (he didn't cook much then). After a half hour in the bookstore I found Pat and Betty's book and was surprised at how not Kraft foods (i.e. gross combinations of product endorsements) the recipes were. We've made a lot of the food in the book and although some of it was really good, overall I'd rate it a C+. I highly recommend their book for someone who is afraid of cooking and without a dishwasher (it's easy to follow and nearly everything is cooked in foil), but a lot of the food was too bland for my taste.
